I haven't had a surgery in over 20 years, so I'm not familiar with the feelings anymore. I did look at it last night. I'm overweight, and the scar is under my belly so I can't just look down and see it. I checked it out in a mirror. I don't know if you'd call it a pretty scar, but it's not bleeding or oozing, so good, right? I get weird sharp pains there sometimes and it's always sort of an ache, but I can usually get by without even taking OTC pain meds. I took Oxycodone for a few days.
I can't even imagine an incision across my throat. That's probably worse than one in the abdomen.
