Hello friends, new and old

Welcome to my new friends!
I have to ask a favor from all of you (yes even the friends I've had for a while now)
I have a hard time keeping track of more than a couple people, especially when I've come in at the middle of your stories. I would really like if you'd each send me a short summary of who you are, age, who you live with, what you're currently doing that you journal a lot about, any important people you mention a lot in your journal, etc. I'll do the same, in a journal entry, as soon as I can. It just helps if I have some background to picture when I read your entries. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you better :)

Hi, also from creepy friending. Carrollee, 39, married with a 4 year old son (Max), a husband (Dave), and a dog (Pierre). Baby Nick will be arriving in 7 weeks or so. I am in the process of getting a self-help book up on Amazon, which I haven't talked about much on here. Will be there this weekend and I'm sure I'll mention it. I write fiction primarily. I haven't been posting on livejournal much lately, but I read multiple times a day.
I am not published other than an article in Clues that I cowrote with my mom, but I do Nanowrimo each November and I will be self-publishing a book to be released on Election Day (fiction).
Most of my posts lately are about the new baby. Upcoming posts will definitely include nursery photos because I'm painting all the baby furniture black and I will have the nursery decorated this time, which I didn't for Max. I also want to get back into all my crafty stuff, like knitting and crocheting and painting and drawing, so hopefully more of that will show up as well in the upcoming months.

That's cool!
We kind of threw the nursery together for our son, because he was 3 weeks early. We did have kind of a theme, but it wasn't as cutesy as I hoped.
I admire you for writing. I keep trying to, and stopping. What kind of self help book are you doing? I'm all about the self help. :P

It is called "Change Your Life in Fifteen Minutes" and is about using mindful meditation (and mindfulness in general) to help yourself be happier and more successful. It's also kind of memoir-y.
I wanted to do this nursery theme for Max but my pregnancy really sucked so I didn't get it together. This time hasn't been a lot easier but feels a lot different, so I'm getting the nursery the way I want it.

Sounds good-let me know when it comes on amazon, I'll take a look.

Good luck with the nursery. I had a very uncomfortable pregnancy (but still better than a lot of people expected)
