Writer's Block: Family Matters

You mean besides driving me insane? What else is there?
My family gives me a reason to get up in the morning. No really, I love my sleep. I'd still be sleeping until noon if it weren't for my son. I remember when he was very young, I thought his wakeup time of 9 a.m. was early. We used to get up and watch Dawson's Creek reruns while I tried to wake up.
Now that he wakes up between 5 and 6, I would do anything for that 9 a.m. wakeup time.
Another thing--they give me things to do. I wouldn't trek more than an hour out of my way to go to a farm, or a Renaissance faire, or to go shopping and get lunch if it weren't for my son. We live in an area where everything I need is within 5 blocks. I don't require much for entertainment, but my son sure does! So thanks to him, I'm experiencing new things all the time.
I think my family drives me crazy and keeps me sane at the same time. I'm not sure I'd still be here if it weren't for him.

I miss sleeping in. But as I get older, my internal alarm gets set earlier and earlier. I can't wait to have kids!

I cant sleep till 8 if I try.. unless I stay up all night, even then I'm up by 6.
