That's pretty manipulative on your son's part though. When it's time to go to bed, it's time to go to bed. He's got the rest of the day to talk to you. He's hurting YOUR feelings, on purpose, to get his way. Not cool! He needs to understand that other people have boundaries and he needs to respect them. It's not always about what he wants.
And he will. He's young. But ugh, what a challenging guy! Having smart kids isn't easy.
