And hilarity ensues
Jul. 23rd, 2009 11:33 amMy son is so expressive. Often he'll say things he probably shouldn't say, and I laugh, like I probably shouldn't. He creeps me out sometimes, like when there was a loud noise last night which I still have not identified, and he came barreling out of his room. He proceeded to tell me that two cars crashed and that the car was stuck. He of course could not see anything from his room even if that did happen. So I calmed him down and got him back to sleep, but I was totally creeped out.
Other times he'll say something silly that makes sense to him, and to me, but would raise the eyebrows of anyone else. Yesterday I was showing him a picture of Scarlett Johannson in which I liked her hair, and I told Josh that I wanted to get my hair cut like that. He in turn told me I wouldn't be pretty, because my eyes would change and my face would change and I would take off my shirt and wear underwear (like the camisole she was wearing in the picture). And I have to agree. Me in my underwear would not be pretty.
