Yeah so it's been a while. With the kid home all day it's hard to get 5 minutes to myself without him wanting something which is cute, but damn, I thought kids liked to play by themselves more. LOL Who wants boring old mom mucking everything up? He does, apparently.
So he spent the night at my inlaws last night and I have a few more minutes before I go pick him up. We'll grab lunch somewhere, probably, or maybe come back here if anything entices him. It's a day to day challenge, figuring out what he'll eat. Like last week, he loved this pasta thing I made and the other night he ate two bites of it. (it was a fresh batch, not last week's if you were wondering)
So I bought a new Steam game called Night of the Rabbit. It's touted as "part Doctor Who, part Alice in Wonderland" and upon reading that I was like, sign me up! It's a bit tedious, and has you make a lot of things from stuff you pick up that you would not understand how to make unless you had a number of degrees in science and engineering (or perhaps I'm just dumb, idk) but there are a number of walkthroughs I can draw from.
I wish the journal had saved the riddle I had to solve, because I had to keep going back to the walkthrough. If I could have just opened my journal and read it I might have been able to solve it myself.
We're leaving for our Disney cruise on Friday and we're driving down, which might be a mistake, but we'll see. I kind of wish we had just bitten the bullet and gotten a flight, because after all the hotels we need, it would probably be worth the extra money. Oh well.
So yeah, I won't be here from Friday until the 3rd. We expect to pull back in by then, barring any problems.
