Aug. 12th, 2013 04:46 pmMore dumb stuff about me, blah blah blah. Amazing how my husband can ruin the best of nights. First of all he gets a cheeseburger with jalapenos on it for lunch the day we're going to see Wicked (yesterday). He's allergic to jalapenos. Why would you fuck with that on a night you're going out? "Just to see", he says. Thankfully nothing happened, there weren't many of them in there I guess. But I would have been so pissed if he'd sabotaged the night.
Wicked is amazing. It's supposed to be the last time we go see it, at least for a while, because we've seen it 4 or 5 times but man. Halfway through the show I was already planning how I was going to get him to let us go again. I just love that show to death (no pun intended). So many great moments.
During intermission my husband went and bought me socks and a shirt. The shirt...does not fit. Because women's shirt sizes have to be "fitted" *rolls eyes*, he got me a medium and it's well, fitted too tight. LOL.
So I guess the night wasn't really ruined until (TMI sex alert!) we tried to have sex and we were both a little too drunk. It was a fail for me and a not so good one for him and then he's like, I don't know why you don't quit drinking yet because you can never get there when you're drunk. Well, because being drunk is worth not having an orgasm once in a while, I guess. It's not often that I get SO smashed that I can't come but to hear him talk about it you'd think it happens every time. And hello, when are *you* going to stop drinking?
So my cousin N got engaged over the weekend and then his sister L posted on facebook about it. I said congratulations and then their mother R called me that night to tell me the news. R was so excited I obviously didn't tell her that L had already posted on facebook. LOL. I went and deleted my response so R wouldn't know I'd already known. I'm a little sad that L spread the news on facebook before the happy mom (or even the engaged couple themselves!) got to tell everyone.
I'm a little nervous about having to dress for another wedding (although it won't be as a bridesmaid this time!). I haven't had to dress as a wedding guest since I was a kid.
