Well technically I did. My husband and I met online when I was in Massachusetts and he was in Tennessee.. He was originally from MA though and was planning on coming back. He was in TN because he had run away from home to be with a girl he'd met online. It was serious for a while, but they eventually broke up and he met me around that time. He came back up to MA and came with me to Maryland when I went back for my second year of college.
College didn't work out so we moved back to the area of MA that he is from, that I had never been to before I met him and didn't particularly like. From there we moved back to TN (his idea), and back to MA when I decided I wanted to try culinary school in RI. A couple years after that, we bought a house a minute or two from his parents' house.
We've had our ups and downs but we have sacrificed a lot for each other and would continue to do so. I'm not living in my ideal town (I'd like to be closer to my parents, in a more cultured area) but it's not bad.
