Renaissance garb?

Does anyone know where I can get some cheaper-than-average Renaissance clothes?  Like, a pretty dress, or skirt and blouse and something simple for my son who is almost 4? (I figure since he is almost 3 and 8 months, I should stop saying he's 3 and a half)
I thought it might be fun to dress up for King Richard's Faire this year.
Actually, I could probably get away with getting my son a pirate costume or something.  He loves pirates.
