I have only read part of the first book, so I have no idea how much more material they can cover from the books (or if they've gone so far from the book plots that it isn't reasonable to follow the books anymore)
But I do hope it ends before it gets bad or has to resort to cliches or repeating plot twists (for instance I really hope they don't kill off Lumen)  The best part of last season was how the episodes ended on cliff hangers almost every week.  I hope they can keep that up.

Don't bother keeping up with the books because they only based season one off of the first one and that's pretty much it lol. Dexter's relationships in the book are so different than they are on the show.

And Lumen has been my favorite new character since the show started. I love her. But I don't think she's going to be in the next season (which they just officially announced, yay!).

Oh yay! I'm glad there's going to be another season, but sad that Lumen won't be in it :( I love Julia Stiles. I hope at least there is a happy ending for her...please?
