Ahahaha It has to be Jimmy Dougan, because A League of Their Own is one of my favorite movies.  Even though it isn't really a great movie, my judgement of it is clouded because it came out at a sort of defining moment in my teenage life.  I had just found out that one of my classmates had been hit by a car and killed.  That night, my dad took me to see the movie.


Soo the movie is memorable to me because of that.  I suppose it does stand on its own, it has some very touching moments, and very funny moments.  But it'll always help define that memory for me.

This is one of my favorite sports movies. I was 9 years old when I saw it, and it was an immediate favorite...I can't tell you how many times I have seen it!

I have been known to do that, but so does my dad...he loves the part early in the film, when Ernie the scout is watching Marla hit and then sees what she looks like...his reaction is hilarious!
