Bedtime shenanigans
Mar. 26th, 2012 03:28 pmMy son has continued to drag out bedtime, from me having to tell him 10 times to brush his teeth and get changed, to begging for one more chapter from his book (we started the Magic Treehouse books a few days ago, they are good but may be a bit mature for him still-I had to skip past the description of a mummy's face last night to avoid scaring him)
So after all that, last night, he mentioned his monster spray, a concoction of vanilla extract and water I made to spray him and the corners of his room to keep away the monsters. He said "I wish you could make a spray that smells like you and daddy." So I asked him what we smell like and he said we're both stinky sometimes. LOL
I ended up giving him the shirts my husband and I wore that day and that made him happy. Later on when I checked on him before I went to bed, he was wearing my sweatshirt. :)
