 Finally done watching Dawson's Creek!  I did enjoy it, especially since I had somehow either managed to forget or never find out who she finally ended up with in the end.
  What should I watch next?  I was thinking Six Feet Under, but maybe something more upbeat?  Any good sitcoms on Netflix streaming that I should catch?

I will second this rec. Eureka is funny science fiction set in a modern day small town, and saying anything more would spoiler the whole thing.
The protagonist has a TALKING HOUSE. I repeat, A TALKING HOUSE. It's absurd and wonderfully human and I really, really wish that town was real so I could have moved to it as a kid.

If you have yet to watch it, I highly reccomend Gilmore Girls. Sadly, I don't think this show is on netflix streaming. It's full of strong female characters living their lives and interacting and personalities bouncing off each other and it's just... it's just BEAUTIFUL and funny and sweet and always makes me wanna hug my mom.

Honestly, I'm not much one for sitcoms in general. Too many of them think that humiliating this character or that is funny, and revulsion is not a strong enough word to describe my reaction to humor based on humiliation. It's so mean spirited, I want to laugh WITH, not AT.

Oh yeah, I've watched a lot of Gilmore Girls on TV. Lorelai was actually on my list for girl's names LOL

I love it but I think it's too fresh in my mind to be interested in watching the whole thing since I already know so much about the plot -maybe in a few years.
