Ha ha, I have been looking all over the boards and stuff that I frequent for "what did you get for Christmas" posts but apparently it's not cool to brag about your presents once you become an adult. That sucks so, here goes.

My presents from my husband can be mainly divided into two categories: Joey McIntyre related and Doctor Who related. For new readers or those of you living under a rock, Joey is in New Kids on the Block and has also done some solo music and acting gigs and is basically my favorite celebrity in the world. Thankfully my husband indulges me in my obsession and doesn't make me feel too bad about it.

In the Joey category, I got an official Wicked poster (a Broadway musical based on a book about the wicked witch of the West and Glinda, taking place mainly before Dorothy entered the picture, see my icon) with his name in the billing, which is pretty rare since he was only in the show for about 4-5 months.

Also I got the Playboy issue that he was in in 2001. No he's not naked (maybe if he were in Playgirl) but it's very nice anyway.

In the Doctor Who category I got:
Ten's sonic screwdriver. It makes the sound, and also has a black pen and an invisible ink tip. When you write with it and shine the light on it, you can see what's written.

A spinning TARDIS. It hovers between two ends and spins when you gently push it-I thought it didn't work because it's pretty hard to get it to not just stick to the top magnet, but after watching a video I figured it out.

The square TARDIS mug with lid. I wanted the one with the TARDIS on it that disappears and shows up on the other side when you pour hot liquid in it, but it was ridiculously overpriced for a mug, since it came from England. So the square mug will have to do.

An exploding TARDIS poster. It's in the style of Van Gogh's Starry Night and shows the TARDIS, well, exploding. Not sure if this is representative of something that actually happens--we just started the 11th Doctor and haven't seen anything like it yet but I would not be surprised.

I also got an 11th Doctor calendar from my aunt and uncle, which is sort of not as exciting as a 10th Doctor calendar would have been but still cool.

As for the big present, my husband opened a Sears credit card and got us a used treadmill. I love it to death.

I got some random things from my husband and the rest of my family, but those are the big deal presents.

There. Bragging over. Was that so bad?
